All About D.E.C.T.
The Dunedin Environment Trust was set up in Nov 1992. It was to provide a venue for discussion about environmental issues. It was to model wise environmental practices and provide information to the general public about environmental issues. In addition to this it is an advocate for the environment.
In Sept 2005 the DECT see these functions as being vital for promoting environmental sustainability. Our objective is to educate and provide networking services for the Dunedin community so as to improve adoption rates for sound environmental practices.
